Well the main back ground story is being hammered out we can shed some light on the very bare basics for now.
Currently ther are four factions technically, although really they're just three proper factions. The big three factions are....
The restored Jedi Order under the leadership of Grand Master Talon Ordo. The Jedi Order currently only controls the planet Ruusan.
The new Sith Order under the leadership of Darth Matas. The Sith Order currently only controls the planet Korriban.
The new Grey Jedi Order under the leadership of Lady Tanya. The Grey Jedi Order currently only controls Geonosis .
The final factions are known as the Independents. This group is for people who don't want to be any part of any faction and who want complete sovereignty. Sadly though Independents do not get Force Powers, nor do they get free Force training. It is possible for them to gain Force Powers, but only by training with someone who has the skills. Independents can join forces and create small gangs, but at this time can't control any planets. Does who are interested in playing Bounty Hunters, Madalorians, Republic Soldiers, merchants, or any other such groups should join here.
The reasons behind these decisions will become more apparent as time goes by. Remember my friends the staff is working hard to get this sight working again! Our history and current story line should be completed and up within the next few weeks.

I have toyed around with the idea about having a force council or an intergalactic council. This council would strictly be in character. Anything your character knows it what it knows. Nothing that you know as a person can be used in this council.

I have added another user sytle which i will try and have one of my DJ friends flesh out for us a little bit. I have decided that we would let the members put in their input and tell us what they want the board to look like.
