Fleeing the New World

Tanya was in a hurry rapidly picking up her belongings and stuffing them into crates which techs were loading into a heavily modyfied frigate. Walker her padwan and husband had gone to the dark side. That tore a humongus hole in her heart and left her in a state of weakness. Looking over her office she noticed her datapad and after picking it up she summoned the rest of the grey jedi. Telling them to meet her at the frigate.

Packing the last few things away she swiftly strode through the halls to her personal chambers. Picking up only her mask, saber, lightwhip and cloak she made her way to the frigate in the hanger bay. Striding through a narrow service entrace to the hanger she looked up at the ship thanking the heavens that a couple of her knights made off with this beauty from the hutts. Pacing her way in front of the loading ramp she waited for her beloved greys to come.

Chimi was asleep when she was suddenly awakened by someone announcing that the grey jedi needed to meet Lady Tanya at the frigate. She had no idea where the frigate was.

Since her master had left, Chimi was left to fend for herself. Chimi had nowhere else to go and had very little training.

She couldn’t understand what the sudden urgency was, so she got up out of her bed, got dressed and walked around the halls following the rest of the grey jedi.

She had no idea what a frigate was, so she found a droid and asked it if it knew exactly what a frigate was. The droid told her that a frigate was a ship. Chimi felt a little better now that she knew exactly what she was looking for.

Chimi was nervous until she saw that everyone looked as if this was a normal procedure, and then she took a deep breath and started to relax.

She decided to speed up so as not to be late. She sped so fast that she didn’t notice that everyone had stopped and she bumped into someone and fell.

Chimi apologized but the guy didn’t seem to notice because he was too busy focusing on something.

Chimi was about to ask the man what he was looking at until she looked in his direction and realized what it was.

She assumed that this was Lady Tanya and so she stopped and waited for Lady Tanya to speak.

Grabbing his personal items, Zorrix was in deep thought. Tanya had ordered him to gather his things and meet him. He could sense that something was wrong with her. When he asked her, she said that she would explain everything when he got to the frigate. Zorrix didn't really have that many belongings and what little items he had he kept on his ship.

Seeing that he had some extra time, he sat indian style on the floor and slipped into a deep force mediation. Something was going on and he was determined to find out what it was. Within the currents of the force many images flash in his head, but their was two images that bothered him. The first image was a warning that the headquarters of the Gray Jedi were in danger. And the second image one was a man covered in a dark shadow. He wore black robes and the dark side rolled off his body like endless water. For some reason Zorrix knows the man, but he couldn't see his face.

Coming out of meditation, he ran with force enhanced speed to meet Tanya. Reaching her in recorded time, he looked at her. "Tanya what the hell is going on? Why is our headquarters in danger?" he said

Tanya watch as almost immediatly after she had sent the message grey jedi started to pour into the hanger. She noticed Walkers old padawan appear looking lost and confused. She went to her and spoke saying, 'its ok young one. Once we get out of here we shall restart your training.
Hearing a voice call her name she turned to see Zorrix addressing her. With a hand on Chimis shoulder she said gravely. 'Zorrix Walker has left us and emersed himself completly in the dark side. We need to get off geonosis as soon as possible.'

Chimi looked around and saw that all these gray jedi were gathered here with her belongings and all Chimi had was her staff. Well at least she didn't forget that.

She was lost in thought until she heard something that put chills through her spine, her master had gone to the dark side, did she hear right?

Chimi didn’t know what to say or what to do. All she knew was that she no longer had a master. She just hoped that Lady Tanya was right and they would be able to find someone who would continue her training. All she knew was that she was not going to back to Tatooine.

Well, Lady Tanya seemed genuine enough, so Chimi felt a little bit more confident.

At first she didn’t recognize who it was that Lady Tanya was talking to until she did a double take and realized that it was Lord Zorrix. The last time she saw Zorrix was when they first met.

Maybe he could train her. Seeing as he was very close to her master.

“I see well that would explain what I saw in my visions. So he has taken up the mantle of Dark Lord of the Sith.” He said looking at Tanya and Chimi. This was a very interesting development. Zorrix knew Walker very well, maybe not as well as Tanya but well enough. So what would cause a man like Walker to fell to the dark side? But did Walker truly fall or did he choose to embrace it? That was the question that he was trying to figure. It didn’t bother Zorrix that much that his friend that was a Sith Lord. He believes that is was the will of the force that his friend joined the dark side. The only thing that the Grey Jedi Lord knew was that he would meet up with Walker again and hopeful find out what happen.

Pushing those thoughts to the side, Zorrix turned his attention back to the task at hand. He thought about all the things that have happened to the Grey Jedi. How they were almost destroyed no that long ago. “Tanya I believe that we shouldn’t leave Geonosis. Even though Walker is the Dark Lord of the Sith, right now he can’t attack us. He doesn’t have the power or numbers to do so. Like us he will have to rebuild the Sith Order But we do Tanya, you and I are to of the two most powerful members of the Grey Jedi Order. We shouldn’t be afraid of him, we must prepare from him, not flee from a possible threat. He is my best friend but if I have to I can and will put my feeling aside to fight and possible kill him. There would be no were for us to run, there would be no way for us to keep it a secret. I mean think about it, if you were on a planet and ships just suddenly appeared out of nowhere, you would tell everyone you knew.” He said.

Moving way from the group, he looked out at the planet. “Also we can’t abandon Geonosis because of the valuable resources that lie below the surface. The B1 battle droids, we can’t let him get them. Although they are weak, we can mass produce them and create a decent size army very quickly. And this would be the perfect place to hide. Walker may know a lot of things about the planet but not everything. I vote that we stay here and commission the droid army. If the Darth Lord decides to attack them we must fight. What do you say Tanya?” he said as he pointed to the barren world.

Normally Zorrix let Walker and Tanya take care of the details of the order but now that Walker had left them, he knows that he would have to take a more active role in the GJO. Hopeful Tanya would see the wisdom of his word.

Thinking about what Zorrix had just told her she winked at him and said, "Good idea Zorrix." Raising herself up to her full height she thought about the droid army and what was happening right now. Her follwers were frightend about the whole evauation alarm and she need to think fast on how to calm them down if they were not to leave Geonosis.

Magnifing her voice with the force she spoke and her voice ecohed throughout the enclave so that everybody could hear her. "My fellow Grey Jedi this has just been an emergency drill to make sure we have the proper personal to preform such an evacuation like this. Please return to your places of duty and continue on with your work."

Turning to Zorrix and Chimi she told them to follow her to her office. taking off at a great stride she made her way down the halls. Turning breaifly to see that Zorrix and Chimi were keeping up with ehr she had to suppress a smile to see Zorrix carring Chimi on his shoulders. Arriving at her office she reached into her desk and pulled out a data pad.

"This is the control pad for the droids we have Zorrix." I have already been down to the droid factory and seen that the droids were opperational. With a push of the button they will be online but i have modifyed them so that if this ever gets broken, the Grey Jedi can control them with minimal use of the force."

After they arrived at Lord Tanya’s office, Lord Zorrix placed Chimi down on the ground and followed Lord Tanya over to her desk.

Chimi didn’t know what to do, so she decided to stand in the corner and be quiet while the Lords’ were in their conference.

She was about to meditate when she started to hear something that caught her attention.

She overheard the Lords talking about droids.

She was so interested in what they were talking about that she decided to ease over a little bit so that she could hear well.

After Tanya had mentioned something about the control pad for droids,

Chimi accidently knocked over some papers which. However this did not break the Lords attention as they continued talking.

Chimi thought to herself that whatever they were talking about had to be pretty serious for them not to stop what they were doing and look at her.

Chimi quieted her thinking so that she could hear more.
