Need a Master

Aldar sat in the Temple in a deep meditation. He had been at the Temple for many years and still no one had taken him as a Padawan. He was starting to wonder if he would ever indeed get a Master. This thought had been in the back of his mind recently, but he would not let it defeat him. He would get a Master it would just take time and patience. The Jedi Order was rebuilding and there were hardly any Knights or Masters to take on the Padawan so the Grand Master was tasked with training the majority of them. Aldar wondered if he even wanted the Grand Master to take him as a Padawan.

When Aldar thinks Grand Master he thinks of someone old and wise who had seen many things in the Universe and has done many things. Aldar thought of Grand Master Ordo more as a peer because he was only a few years older than Aldar. In fact some of his Padawans were even older than Grand Master Ordo. He just felt there had to be someone more qualified in the Universe to take on the job of being Grand Master of the Jedi Order. But all the Heads of the different orders were rather young.

Aldar decided that he had enough meditation for today because it wasn't even working. Meditation is supposed to calm and clear you mind and all that Aldar could think about was getting a Master. As Aldar's eyes opened he stood up and gazed at the room around him. He sat in a room that had what seemed like a thousand fountains it was rather soothing listening to the sound of the water running softly. Aldar swatted at some water as it came down and shot water across the room and then wiped his wet hand on his pants as he exited the room.

The Lyceum was an architectural wonder, but it was empty and quiet all the time. Such a huge building to always be silent made it felt as if the Lyceum was abandoned. Aldar wandered the Lyceum aimlessly and to an onlooker it may have even looked as if he was lost in the huge building, but surely he was not.
Kell Rellim

Kell watched Aldar as he wandered past her a few times. She didn't think he had noticed her, he seemed to be deep in thought. *He can't be lost, he's been here to long...* She thought, watching him walk by yet again. At last, she spoke

"Something troubling you, Aldar?" She said, as he came around the corner towards her, still not really looking at anything in particular. She stood up from where she had been sitting cross legged.

"Oh," Aldar said startled a little bit as he had not expected her to come out to him. "Master Rellim you startled me" Aldar said smiling. "It's nothing really" Aldar said as he shifted his weight fidgitting a little bit. "I have just had somethings on my mind recently and it is making it hard to concentrate is all" Aldar said.

((Sorry about the shortness I really didn't know what else I could have posted))
Kell Rellim

Kell nodded slowly, looking over him from head to foot. She hadn't seen him very often, for lately she had been very busy. As one of the few Jedi Knights left, she had been called to duty often. She had heard of him and his story though. *He seems very sound. Considering.* She thought to herself as she finally spoke.

"Do you have a master?" She asked, thinking that he was probably being trained by the grandmaster

OOC: Lol, i'm glad you didn't make it any longer, you make me look bad! Razz
Aldar Natadare

Once Kell uttered those words a spark was lit in Aldar's heart. He felt happy in unimaginable way, but he couldn't show it. After a few seconds just standing there he calmed himself down. "Maybe she was just asking, maybe she's not even going to take me as a Padawan" Aldar thought to himself. He was now perpared for the worst, but even if she did not take him as a Padawan he would most likely be taken by the Grand Master eventually.

"No not as of yet" Aldar said with a sigh, "I mean I have been in the Order since I was four years old fifteen years ago and I still have not been taken as a Padawan by anyone yet" Aldar said "I have been beginning to wonder if I will ever get a Master" He told her, "I have worried about it so much that I haven't even been able to concentrate on anything" He added.

His heart felt like it was beating a million times in a second. He just stood there in anticipation of what she could say and he had a million thoughts swirling around his mind. Like will she take me as a Padawan?, why would she have waited so long to take me as a Padawan?, what if she doesn't take me as a Padawan?, will I ever get a Master?

Kell lifted an eyebrow, surprised that he had not already been taken as an apprentice. *From what I've heard he is skilled...* She thought to herself, *And I do need a padawan...* She nodded to herself, comming to a decision. She then noticed that he had become tense, and she laughed.

"Well then, that works out well!" She said, still chuckling, "Would you be my padawan?"
Aldar Natadare

Aldar was speechless. He had waited so long for this day and now it has finally come. The day he is taken as a Padawan. In his happiness he had almost fogetten to accept her propostition "Oh, yes, yes I would like to be you Padawan" Aldar said extremely excited. After he had calmed down he started thinking to himself. What did this mean now, he had waited so long for this day, but now he really didn't know what to do. He knew as a Padawan he would train under Kell Rellim but what missions would they go on with her.

Kell couldn't help it, she laughed again, as Aldar stammered out his acception. She had forgoten how much fun it could be to have a padawan. She was already thinking ahead, planing what she needed to do. She put her hand on his shoulder, looking into his eyes.

"I'm not an easy master." She said, serious now, "You will have to train hard. Also, I have to see what level you are at now. From what I have heard, you are skilled. I would like to judge for myself. Can you meet me in the training room in..." She looked at her pad, "fifteen minutes?"
Aldar Natadare

"Yes, I will train harder than I have trained in my life" Aldar told her, "Yeah I can meet you in the training room right now if you need me too" Aldar added. He was ready to become a Padawan after so long. He would train very hard and give his Master nothing less than she deserved and that was all he could give. His parents had made sure he gave all he could give in anything and everything he did and he thinks he has done it.

Kell smiled, knowing she had made a good choice for a padawan. *He is very motivated. This is going to be fun!* She thought happily.

"No, fifteen minutes is better, I have to go get some things." She said, "I can tell you now though, I'm sure I couldn't have found a better padawan." She looked thoughtful for a moment, then grinned again. "Well, actually, a better padawan couldn't have found me!" At that, she turned, heading for her room to get Remo, along with her lightsabers.

OOC: I'm not going to be on for a couple hours. See you then! I'll make a post in the training area.
