History:
Vandus was born in 49 ABY on Dol Glorath. He lived a normal life living with his uncle but struggled at school. One day at age 13 when coming home from school, he found his uncle dead at the hands of a burglar. An enraged Vandus killed the burglar, gathered his belongings, and left his home. He found work at a repair shop where the owner took him in. Vandus lived happy at the shop until gangsters killed the store owner. Fearing Vandus would report who had committed the crime, they attempted to kill him. The young man escaped in one of the ships that was being worked on. Scared, deeply upset, and having little skills in flying a ship, he activated lightspeed using the preset coordinates.
The coordinates took him to Kashyyyk. Vandus landed virtually undetected in a forest and made his way to the village of Grainstarr. He was welcomed into Grainstarr by the village chief, Heretic and befriended his son, Jolcamma. Vandus was trained to hunt, fight, and survive by the Wookies. He also spent years customizing his ship, which he proudly named Black Dawn. The initiation into the tribe was nearly complete. He was given his final task by Heretic. Nearly 100 years ago, a pricless artifact was stolen from the village by pirates and taken to Dathomir. Heretic sent Vandus away in his ship to retrieve the artifact.
Vandus took Black Dawn on the journey to Dathomir. This journey was stopped when the ship was intercepted by an Imperial cruiser. Vandus was taken aboard and held prisoner. He was interrogated for hours, accused of smuggling in Imperial territory. It was in this time that a Sith aboard the ship questioned Vandus. It was an Inquisitor, Sith trained in torture and interrogation. The Inquisitor, called Tyrius, sensed something in Vandus, the Force. Tyrius wanted Vandus to be his apprentice, to be trained in the Dark Side. After days of discussion, Vandus agreed and was taken to Sith Temple.
Tyrius trained the boy the philosiphies and secrets of becoming a Sith. Vandus was intrigued by his teachings. He was trained for nearly 5 years before he was taken for a final test. Tyrius took his apprentice to the planet of Falantas. The objective was to eliminate a ruthless crime boss. Vandus organized the fledgling resistance against him. It was in this time he met a young woman named Tessa. Vandus befriended her and with her help, defeated the crime boss. Vandus and his master left Falantas and traveled to Korriban, where Vandus was chrisened a Sith by Emperor Matas. Vandus took the name Darth Killius. The new Sith Warrior traveled the Galaxy, seeking to complete missions given from the Sith Lords. Through it all, he couldn't help thinking about Tessa and if she was okay. He returned to Falantas and to Tessa. The two fell in love and were married shortly after on Kashyyyk.
Darth Killius joined the Imperial Armed Forces and quickly shot through the ranks. Within three years, he became the Grand General of the Armed Forces. He reorganized many of the legions based on the soldiers skills and led several successful campaigns against the Jeeno during the Force War. Killius fought in many major battles, including his instrumental role in the Battle of Mon Calamari. Darth Killius died during the battle while fighting to destroy a major weapon that could destroy the Imperial Fleet fighting overhead.
