He is a man who has trained all his life under his echani master. When he was young he was found by his master to have great potential in unarmed combat. He was taken from his home and quickly excelled through the basic hand to hand combat styles. When he had finished with the basics he was taught a fighting style created by his master known as Zodiark. A fighting style that is very elegant and precise and has taught him to defend against and defeat jedi and sith alike. When He turned the age of 26, he realized he was a force sensitive person and his master commanded him to leave and pursue force training. This would further his abilities in martial arts. So on the day of his birthday he left his home to seek out a teacher of the force. During his travels he came upon the sith and jedi academy. During this time he really spent a small amount of time at the sith academy but he spent a whole year at the Jedi academy. During this time he learned the ability force absorb which because of his martial arts training he quickly excelled at absorbing the force. He was far more in-tune with his body than anyone else there and could feel the force through every fiber of his being at an early stage of training. But he didn’t feel at home. Both sides Attempted to force him into things he either did not agree with or found to be corrupt. He left both sides remembering the words of his master. "Every man chooses his own destiny. Everyman decides for himself what to do with their life. No one should ever attempt to force you to questions your belifs." Now he has heard wispers of a faction known as the grey jedi. They seem to be a group that works together and yet ever man has his or her own belifs. He has began seeking them and their where abouts.

Also your faction wouldn't be none. It would be independent.
Hmm I have a question about this. Say I made a Mandalorian character but he was a Bounty Hunter so he was a independent character. But for his faction I put Mandalorian
I know there is no forum space for them but would that be allowed for IC purposes, to give the character some strings he can pull. I assume you would beable to use the faction NPCs to an extent also...?
I don't think you could Urwen. I'm not sure but I don't think we're letting the Mandalorians be a faction just yet. You could mention being a mandalorian, but your faction would still be independent.
Of course, you could always RP knowing a few other Mandos and ya'll get together and decide to wreck a few things. That's always cool. _________________
You could be a Mandalorain and a Bounty Hunter, but you really can't take control of a established NPC faction. Right now the Mandalorains like others are off limits as far as players controlling the faction.
Eventually the Mandalorian's will open up as will other groups. For now though you wouldn't be able to control them their leader is a NPC. Also as things progress the Mandalorian's themselves could split into multiple different factions as they have in the past as could any of the NPC factions or even the player controlled factions.
You could create your own little gang of Independents though. You'd be like any other gang you'd have the power that you guys could gather. You wouldn't be a part of a faction though.
For example you could find five other Independents and create "The Bounty Hunter Guild". No mater what you called the gang though it would still only be you and the five other members, there are no NPCs in your gang. Others would see you basically as a Organized street gang. You could theoretically control areas of Planets (like a miles wide), but their is no way five people could take over a planet.
Independents are basically people who don't want to be controlled by any of the Factions. They freely decide what they want to do. They can enter or leave any story line or scenario any time they want, and they don't have to take any orders from anybody they don't want to.
On the downside they don't have any NPC's outside maybe a personal droid. They don't have the resources of the big three Orders, nor do they have the natural power base. They don't have the easy access to training opportunities nor the natural allies that a Faction brings with it.
Eventual down the road certain Independents maybe able to create their own Orders if they reach a certain number of members, but where talking about the future.
When I say Independents can't have NPC's I'm talking about how factions have them. The Republic Remnants is assumed to have millions of soldiers as do the other facations. A Independent can't say "I was declared Mandalore therefor I control the Mandalorian's." That isn't going to fly. Neither is inventing up character just to make your character stronger (ie you want to learn Force Power's so you invent Ex Grand Master Hulk Hogan who's going to teach you every Force Power ever known).
