Why in the name of God are certain post dealing with Vader and Yoda, when throughout this sights entire RPG from the beginning is set thousands of years beyond their time period? _________________ Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow?
Perhaps since this is all now rebooted we can alter it, but I think the time line should remain in the future far beyond the time of the films. There should be very few people who remember any aspect of the Clone Wars (race life expectancy of course does matter) and those that are of "normal" races should be considerably old and in the same boot as the remaining World War One veterans of ours age (There are only a handful). Those that exist shouldn't be able to fight outside of good well written back stories. _________________ Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow?
As I said the only exceptions should be based on certain story lines. People in the Star War universe are just like the ones in our own. They live a few decades and then die of old age and disease. The oldest person in our history lived to be 122 years old and 164 days (her name was Jeanne Calment if you honestly are interested in her).
The current average life span of the human race is 66.12 years. In America in particular the average life span is 78.06. We should keep this in mind with our characters. If you don't like such limitations pick a fake species with a longer life expectancy.
Almost all humans who lived through the Clone Wars should be DEAD by now end of story. We shouldn't be able to go into a Cantina and meet a old platoon of Clone Troopers or any other such nonsense. If you want to talk to a veteran of the conflict have him be a member of a alien species that has a long life expectancy. _________________ Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow?

when this forum was active the year was 82 aby. It was changed to that year right after the greys defeated the jedi under shadows rule. _________________
