OOC: This message will be edited once I have more time to post it properly, but for now I believe it will get across the main ideas of the new Jedi Order.
The following message comes from the desk of the new Jedi Grand Master Talon Ordo.
My fellow Jedi, Jedi prospects, and to all others who read this message I wish this message came at a better time. The truth of the matter is though that the old Jedi Order has been completely destroyed. From Luke Skywalker to the late great Grand Master Urwen the old order fought for what it believed was the true idea of the Force. They defend the Galaxy to the best of their ability against all forces of evil, and it gave its very existence up to pursue that goal. The old Order is dead destroyed by the Jeeno race in the great Force Wars. So now the question remains what will fill this black hole that exist in the Galaxy now?
That is where I come in. My name is Talon Ordo, and to my knowledge I am the last surviving member of that aforementioned old Order. I was the star Padawan of Grand Master Jaden Mustik, former co-founder and number two of the Grey Jedi Order, and former Force Teacher (the highest rank of force users for the old Order's AOL)of the Army of Light.
Many of you who know who I am maybe wondering why a man who constantly rebelled against the Old Order's status quo would even be interested in reestablishing the Order? The answer is simple the Galaxy needs the Jedi Order, and so I have taken it upon myself to establish the New Jedi Order.
The New Jedi Order will be divided in multiple ideals. The ideals of the Old Order's as well as my own. We here at the New Jedi Order accept force users who believe in multiple different aspects of the force and who use different philosophies to live their lives.
Are you a Grey Jedi who has been exiled from your group? You will find a home here. Are you a former Sith or Dark Jedi who is tired of destroying the universe and is looking for another way? You will find a home here. Are you a individual who believes in your heart the ideals of the old Order? You will find a home here. Do you follow my own philosophy? Then you will find a home here.
The new Jedi Order is not the same as the Old we do not ask our members to follow some strict dogmatic ideal before they can be considered a member of this Order. We are not "Jechtist" who will exile those who disagree with the philosophy of the Grand Master on certain points. We will not reject you if you believe in a different explanation of the way of the force. Here as long as you believe in liberty you are accepted.
With that stated there are ideas that we believe in that you MUST follow if you desire to be a member of the New Order.
We reject all forums of tyranny. We are warriors and philosophers for liberty. Our goals are simple the protection of liberty and freedom from all of its enemies.
That is our main absolute. Liberty and freedom that is our goal. We Jedi fight against those who want to make a man their slave.
Does not a man own the right to the sweat off his brow? Do we not own the right to live our lives as we see fit in order to peruse our own dreams and desires?
No says the Republic of Shadows you belong to the collective Order of the Grey's. You must follow the ideals of Jecht or be considered a enemy of the whole. Follow the military Order or be exiled or killed.
No says the Sith. You can not stand as a freeman you must bow on your knees to your Lady and Lord.
No says the Imperial Remnant. Your life belongs to the King and the government.
No says the Socialist in the Republic. Your life belongs to those who hold sway in the Senate. Your life belongs to the poor and you will help who the government orders you to help.
No says the Hutts. Your life belongs to theone who buys you.
No says the Criminal Syndicate. Your life belongs to the Syndicate.
The new Jedi Order rejects all those claims. We choose the path of freedom not slavery. Of justice not corruption. Of intellectualism not cultism. Capitalism not state controlled and corrupted merchants. Truth not lies.
Will you stand with me and fight for liberty? Will you refuse to bow to those who wish to destroy life, liberty, property, and innocence? We have to choose today if we will go up or down. Up to the greatest prosperity and freedom the galaxy has ever known, or down to the ant heap of totalitarianism.
If you believe in Liberty and Justice, if you believe in honor and truth, if you believe that people have a right to their life without being forced to their knees, then the Jedi Order is looking for your help. Won't you come join us as the one group of liberty who stand against the tyrannies of the universe?
