Until we have a more formal system set up, understands unless given special privilege by the staff (not just the leader of your faction, but a majority of staff members) all starting "Force Powers" are very weak. IC (In character) no individual has any major skills in the Force without proper training. So not surprisingly for this reason no person who is first joining has Force Powers beyond a very weak level.
