In other words, Kharn wishes he could do little evil - for a greater good.

History:

Childhood to Teenage years

Kharn was born and raised in Naboo to quite a wealthy family. His father Nar and mother Keehda were both wealthy people and well known in the Kaadara community. His father, a politician and wiser beyond his years. His mother however was an event organiser and owned a local cantina famous for its 'Bantha Tuesdays'. His father was always talking about how much their fame in the community would be their downfall, as there was always people watching that would perhaps take from the family. Of course, his father was right.

One late evening, things were prosperious. Kharn's mother had came home from a wonderful event, which she was given an award for her duties. His father set out a campaign for mayor of Kaadara and odds were that he was most likely to win. However, during the early morning the families house was ambushed. Mercenaries attacked the household which was far out in the country and planned to burn it to the ground. Kharn watched his father butchered and his mother was about to get the same treatment. His mother was burned alive and the country house was set on fire.Kharn managed to escape, barley breathing due to the amount of smoke that had infested itself into his lungs. The mercenaries left Kharn to die on his own, there was nobody around to save him anyway. Or at least they thought. Not too far off lived a hermit in the mountains by the name of 'Shokan Kreed'. Attracted by this, fire and violence Shokan went to investigate. There he found a boy. Shokan rescued Kharn, taking him deep into his mountain cave and helped him back to a full recovery. From there on, Kharn lived with Shokan in the mountain. Shokan had a bit of a surprise to tell Kharn.

Although it wasn't really a surprise. Shokan was a jedi, hiding out in the mountains from Bounty hunters and Mercs mostly. Shokan was old, and he wouldn't last in the mountains for long. He needed a subordinate and Kharn filled that position. From there on, Shokan taught Kharn basic survival skills first, then moving on to melee combat. This took many years and constant practicing. Since Kharn was only a child of around six, he was taking all of this in like a sponge, absorbing the knowledge that was being given then putting it into practice. Shokan taught Kharn the principles of the force, simply moving objects, sensing things and being able to push and pull things towards and away from him were all involved. Kharn could grasp these abilities quite quickly and Shokan was overall impressed with Kharns progress throughout the many years. As Kharn hit his 18th birthday, Shokan shortly died of old age and would always be remembered by Kharn.

Adult Years

Kharn remained living in the mountains of Kaadara through into his early 20's. He lived on local animal meats and would visit his old burned down patch of land, remembering his mother and father. Kharn never promised himself revenge, he knew that revenge would not make the situation any easier and it would only make him more angry. Kharn knew all along that his father was indeed correct. Too much fame is what got them killed, the Mercenaries were but greedy fools killing for money. Very soon they would get theirs, but Kharn would have nothing to do with it. What goes around comes right back around, hopefully. Kharn continued studying the force in all it's splendour. He found it fascinating, there was so much to learn, so much to realise and only a lifetime to do it in. Luckily for him, Shokan left behind many books and ancient texts he had gathered over the years for Kharn to study upon. What he did promise himself, was knowledge. Kharn hungered for knowledge, so that when he was old and frail perhaps he could pass his knowledge onto those willing to learn.

A few years down the line, Kharn claimed his citizenship in Kaadara. He took all of his items and moved into a small bungalow type Naboo house, perfect for him. Kharn also took up a job as a Librarian, something in which he found great interest in. Kharn met a beautiful young woman named Clarisian, a Zabrak and a local. They both fell in love and later they were engaged to be married. Her father however, dissaproved. Clarisan's father did not follow Kharn's way of always looking for knowledge and said that 'Looking in the wrong place can be dangerous'. Kharn wasn't interested in any sort of Sith cults or teachings, he only wanted to know more and learn more. Clarisan's family then moved to Correllia, Kharn would never be able to see her again unless he could save up credits or buy a starship. For a long time Kharn was depressed that he let the love of his life escape, but he couldn't dwell on his thoughts and had to push through the loss.

Eventually, Kharn came across the Jedi Order. They were dedicated to stopping the evils of the Sith empire and protect the galaxy so that one day, everyone could live in peace and harmony. At a first glance, Kharn never actually belived that what any of these factions were doing was right. People were still dying for their cause and there was always someone trying to oppose the rest of the galaxy. As Kharn studied more and more into the teachings of the Jedi, he found their cause a solid one. If they could remove the sith compleatly from the galaxy there would be peace. Hoping to assist the cause, Kharn attempted to join the order having faith that the galaxy can still be saved yet.

Items A comlink and Kharn's diary. Kharn finds it interesting to write down his daily life and use the experienes from the past to help him in the future.

Force Cloak (stealth)
