I figured since the topic was locked, maybe the members of the forum who have read the current situation may have a place to talk about it and where they (we) would like it to go.
I personally really REALLY like the idea, simply because on a much grander scale, a. it reminds me of the Legacy series comics (that I collect) and b. leaves ALOT of room for more character interaction, aswell as space to continue creating different roleplays for a LONG time if you do it right.
Well I like the idea of the Republic being more militaristic and I'd like to see it become the thing it swore never to be; a dictatorship. It''d be interesting. The Jedi at this point are screwed. They have virtually no members. Less members for the Sith are beneficial, less for the Jedi is bad.
I also love that the Dark Galactic Empire is now broken up. I always hated the idea of the Sith becoming a goverment. It should stay small and become less political and more cult-like.
I never thought the Grey Jedi should begin their own order. I believe it should have been more of a loose alliance between members.
Just my take on the current governments. As for the storyline, rebuilding can be either boring or very fun depending on how we do it. Economy, boring. Recreation of hierarchy and conquest is fun.
Another point I realized. The Galaxy is in shambles. We shouldn't attempt to rebuild it as it was before. We should make it better. This is going to give us so much freedom on how we want to shape the Galaxy and I hope the leaders who are creating this new storyline understand that.
One thing I'd like to see is different alliances formed eventually. I mean, how often have the jedi and Republic allied against the Sith and Imperials? I'd say that dog has been beat to death.
Maybe the Republic becomes a tyrannical government and the jedi form an alliance with the remnant to take down the now corrupt environment.
This is just a crazy idea, but I like the idea of it. It gives us more freedom with RPs.
Personally, I think that we need more members before we start conquering the galaxy and dividing it into one big pie. _________________
We're going to need alot more members before we start any of that. For a long time we are going to be dealing with relatively "small" wars/problems in our sagas. Don't expect a huge invasion like the Jeeno to happen again for quite awhile. Nor expect a huge civil war to begin anytime soon. Right now we are in the early "gaining members" stage and until it will be awhile before we reach the "divide the galaxy" stage. _________________ Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow?

Perhaps, right now though the saga we are creating has nothing to do with anything as grand as that lol. Although I am hoping it is fun and mysterious for all.
